Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is powerful, one-on -one process where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life challenges in a safe, supportive, and confidential space.

At AnchorPoint Counseling, we know that you are unique, with your own perspectives, challenges, goals, and pain. Because of this, your therapy will be tailored to you, for you, and supported and led in such a way that will give you the help, healing, and hope you need. Below are some areas and issues that we treat in individual therapy:

  • Anxiety and stress - panic attacks, social anxiety, work-related stress.

  • Depression - persistent sadness, loss of interest, feelings of hopelessness.

  • Relationship issues - conflict, communication problems, breakups.

  • Grief and loss - dealing with the death of a loved one, divorce, major life changes.

  • Trauma and PTSD - childhood trauma, abuse, accidents, violence.

  • Self-esteem and identity struggles - feeling “not good enough,” confusion about life direction.
